sswbn logo Connections by Lois Wood

Lois WoodHello fellow networkers,

Hope you all had a great summer!  It’s September, and welcome back to the work state of mind.   So, sharpen your pencils, get your lunchboxes ready, and let’s jump back into this wonderful thing we call Networking!

Lots of folks made many Connections this summer!   Check it out:

Allison Quinn Guido of Almar Building & Remodeling Company  (www.AlmarBuilding.com) would like to thank Marie Newton from Marie Newton Interiors (www.marienewtoninteriors.com) for contributing to Allison’s newsletter.

Diane Weydt, new member from CompuClassroom (www.compuclassroom.com) would like to thank Veva Johnson of Professional Bookkeeping Services, Inc. for inviting her to lunch and taking the time to discuss with her the networking opportunities at SSWBN. Diane says Veva "was very helpful in sharing some marketing ideas and advice." Hooray Veva!

Jim Della Volpe, Business Advisor / Executive Coach of Growing Tree Partners wants to thank Lois Wood "for being my sounding board while I was selecting a domain name and while I was developing my new website (http://www.growingtreepartners.com). She gave me some candid (but kind) feedback and got me going in the right direction.  Lois also helped me to spot some typos and gave me her editorial expertise.  Grazie Ms. Lois!"

Stacey Shipman of Let it Flow (www.letitflowfitness.com) would like to thank Jane Ford of Melaleuca the Wellness Company for choosing Stacey as her fitness trainer.  "It’s been a pleasure working with Jane."  Stacey would also like to thank Jane for introducing her to Melaleuca – "the products are great!"

Stacey Shipman would also like to thank Steve Negrini of Drivers Edge (www.driversedge.net) for helping her husband with his car. "Steve’s advice saved us thousands of dollars – my husband’s car is running well and he’s no longer looking to buy a new car!"

Janet LaBerge of Dirty Deeds, Done Dirt Cheap wanted to thank Jim Della Volpe of Growing Tree Partners and Lauren Gregory of Amazing Grace Private Nursing Care, Inc. (www.amazinggracepnc.com) for both mentioning Janet’s business to Kaitlin Keane, reporter for the Patriot Ledger, which led to a great article on Dirty Deeds, Done Dirt Cheap!

Nadine F. Pfautz, SPHR Human Resource Consultant
, now doing business as C.H.A.R.T. Consulting, would like to thank Lois Wood of Lois Wood Communications (www.lwcommunications.com) for "lending her expertise and creativity to the development of my business concept into a fabulous website (www.chart-consulting.com) and business cards."

Additionally, Nadine would like to acknowledge Steve Gilman of SPG Computer Services ( http://www.spgcs.com) "for his quick response when my computer crashed.  After the panic receded, I had Steve install an automatic back up for my computer system and install wireless capabilities so I can work from my deck on nice days."

And as always, I’d like to mention some folks myself:  thanks to my buddies Linda Merrill of Chameleon Interiors (www.chameleon-interiors.com) and Jennifer Bruni of Mercury Communications (www.merccom.com) for their steadfast support, advice, and friendship, whenever needed!

So, let me know when you’ve made a Connection with any other Network member...remember, every time your name or your associate’s name appears on the web, you both rank higher on search engines!
