The SSWBN will award one lucky member a free one year membership. The SSWBN member that brings in the most new paid memberships by June 1, 2008 will win a free one year membership. The winner will be announced at the Celebration event to be held in June, 2008.
AS IF THAT WERE NOT ENOUGH...any member that brings in a new paid membership will receive a $25 SSWBN Gift Certificate to be used as a registration fee for any of our regular networking events. There is no limit to the number of $25 SSWBN Gift Certificates you can win! If you bring in a new paid member, you get a $25 Gift Certificate, it's that simple. NOTE: REGISTRATION POLICY - To receive the Pre-registration price, reservations must be received no later than 2 business days prior to the event. This includes mail, e-mail, fax, and telephone calls. At the door, walk-in registrations are always welcome.
Cancellation Policy: Must be received 2 business days prior to 5:00 p.m. for credit to alternate meetings.
I know many of you out there do not attend our events regularly and this is a shame! Imagine the connections we could all make if you did. But my real purpose for mentioning this is that even though you may not make your presence known physically; why not get great free publicity within the Network by submitting your announcements to this column? Someone out there may be looking for your services as we speak. Better yet, every time your name appears in this column, or in "Connections", your company appears higher on search engines like Google. And oh, did I mention this publicity is free? Linda Merrill, of Chameleon Interiors has been named Co-Director for the Boston Chapter of The Downtown Women's Club. Linda's design blog ::Surroundings:: was recently named as one of Elle Decor Magazine Editor-in-Chief Margaret Russell's favorite design blogs in the June issue. On June 15 and 16, Linda appeared on WHDH Channel 7's design segment "Room for Improvement" for the makeover of a master bedroom. Wasn’t that a great party, our annual "Celebrations" event? If you didn’t attend, you missed a fun time! OK, back to those Connections that people are making: Pat Masters of TaxLadyEA wants to "let everyone know that George Weir of Weir Moving Services is really very very good at what he does. My son (Sean) was going to move to Oregon and had to move stuff from 2 apartments in 2 different states (him & his girlfriend). Sean had already gotten estimates from 3 different movers in RI and I told him to touch base with George Weir (He was very impressed with George's expertise, really quick responses (phone, email, blackberry) and EVERYTHING (George went to RI to get an idea of what the client needed!). All we can say is... if you are moving, call George Weir!" Pat also says: "Many thanks to Barbara Case of RBC Dain Rauscher in Norwell for her patience and expertise in setting up a great retirement portfolio for me.
