Join a SSWBN Roundtable in 2008

Are you a sole proprietor working alone who would like contact with other entrepreneurs?  Are you managing a small business and could benefit from the expertise of other small business people? Are you working for a nonprofit organization and would like to share and learn with others?

If you answered “yes’ to any of these questions, now is the time to join a Professional Roundtable sponsored by SSWBN.  This will provide you with a non-selling, non-competitive forum that allows members to share with a group of individuals committed to building strong businesses. With insight and flexibility, our Roundtables focus on the needs of their members in order to provide them with practical knowledge and advice.

Read below to see how some current SSWBN Roundtable members recently responded to the question “How has membership in your group helped your business?”

“Roundtable members have written some wonderful articles for my organization’s monthly newsletter.”

“Last year, I was at my wit’s end and not sure if I should continue being a sole proprietor.  All the members of my Roundtable listened to my concerns and convinced me not to give up.  They suggested I find a client or two (from my past contacts) who would be willing to commit to a more regular arrangement. It worked – and the whole group celebrated my success with me.”

“I got great feedback on my potential client packets and was able to gauge what a potential client’s first impression of my business would be.”
“After our discussion about online networking, one of our members went home, signed up on one of the sites discussed, and received a request for services from this site on the same day.”

In addition to answering the specific question asked, each person added comments expanding on the broad impact Roundtable membership has had on their lives.  This quote best summarizes their feelings: “It’s wonderful, with great people, fabulous ideas, good camaraderie, intelligent critiques, and new insights.  It’s like having good friends and business partners all at the same time.”
