Welcome, welcome to our new members. We anticipate that your experience with the South Shore Women’s Business Network will be a rewarding one both professionally and personally. The Network is always working to make the membership experience a positive one for both new and existing members. As a new member, you should have received a welcome packet. In particular, be sure to read over the new member checklist – hopefully this will give you some great ideas on how to maximize your membership with SSWBN. Remember to double check your web directory listing for accuracy. Shortly after receiving your packet you should get a call from your Network mentor. Our mentor program is our way of putting a friendly face on the Network. You and your mentor are invited to a New Member breakfast on April 9th - so mark your calendars (personal invitations will be sent out). Please know that the Network is here to serve you. Feel free to contact the office if there is anything we can do for you. We look forward to your involvement with the Network and wish you great professional and personal success in 2008. Rayna Minder

Greetings! Platinum partner:Eastern Bank– Providing investment, lending and other financial products to small businesses and individuals. Silver partners:Watch All Pest Management - Integrated Pest
Management limiting the use of pesticides to effectively control pests. As the new Director of Business Development my mission is to grow our network. When the Network grows, we can offer you (our members) more opportunities for exposure and you know what that means for you: MORE BUSINESS! I challenge you to sponsor an upcoming event or become a partner with the Network. As Sponsor or Partner you can increase the visibility, credibility, and the public image of your business, while contributing to the impact SSWBN has in the area business community. Each month we will feature a "Partner piece". This
will be an informational segment from one of our partners that we can
all learn from. This month’s "partner piece" comes from Terry Narus of Eastern Bank – platinum partner. Tip from Terry: "The very best time to borrow for your business is when you don't need the funds. When your company (or you personally) is doing well, your financials are strong and may better warrant new credit. Putting a line of credit in place for your business makes financing new capital purchases or even working capital much easier, especially when you need a quick response." Terry is happy to walk you through the lending paper work, thus making the entire process very easy for the client. Terry Narus, Eastern Bank, T.Narus@EasternBk.com or 781-348-4944. Sincerely, Katie Howard P.S. I look forward to chatting with you specifically about your business and how the South Shore Women’s Business Network can offer you opportunities for growth. |
